I had a mixed experience at Nawarat Chiangmai Boutique Living. While the location was fantastic and the rooms were clean and spacious, there were several shortcomings in service and dining that detracted from my stay.
The room was large and clean with nice wooden floors, but there wasn't much natural light and the view was just a brick wall. The bathroom featured a walk-in shower, but the lack of a shower curtain was inconvenient.
I found the service quite lacking. The reception staff spoke very little English, and my breakfast experience was disappointing-cold toast and a minimal meal served by a sleepy staff member.
The hotel's location is a real highlight for me. Being close to the Night Bazaar and Worarot Market made exploring downtown Chiang Mai very convenient, and there were quaint restaurants nearby for great local dining.
Breakfast was below par. The first morning, the food was minimal and took a long time to be served, and the second morning was no better, which left me very disappointed.
The facilities were decent, but the leaking fridge and bikes in poor condition were frustrating. It would have been nice to have well-maintained amenities.
